MAGPIE REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy explains our policies regarding refunds for Magpie subscription services.

14-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE

Magpie offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers:

  • Available to first-time subscribers only
  • Must be requested within 14 days of initial purchase
  • Full refund of subscription fee
  • No questions asked

To request a refund within the 14-day period, email hello@magpie.ink with your account email and subscription ID.

REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Eligible for Refund

  • New subscriptions within 14 days of purchase
  • Technical issues preventing service use (documented)
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors
  • Service cancellation due to discontinuation by Magpie

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Subscriptions older than 14 days
  • Partial month refunds for cancelled subscriptions
  • Renewals of existing subscriptions
  • Change of mind after 14-day period
  • Violation of Terms of Service
  • Free trial conversions (trial is already free)

REFUND PROCESS

To request a refund:

Step 1: Contact Support

Email hello@magpie.ink with:

  • Your account email address
  • Subscription/transaction ID
  • Reason for refund request
  • Date of purchase

Step 2: Review

We will review your request within 2 business days and respond via email.

Step 3: Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You can cancel your Magpie subscription at any time:

  • Cancel from your account dashboard
  • Access continues until end of billing period
  • No refund for remaining days in current period (after 14-day guarantee)
  • Can reactivate anytime
  • No cancellation fees

Cancellation does not automatically qualify for a refund. See eligibility criteria above.

BILLING DISPUTES

If you believe you were incorrectly charged:

  • Contact hello@magpie.ink immediately
  • Provide transaction details and explanation
  • We will investigate within 2 business days
  • Billing errors will be corrected and refunded promptly

Our payment processor is Paddle. You can also contact Paddle support for billing inquiries.

TECHNICAL ISSUES

If technical issues prevent you from using Magpie:

  • Contact support at hello@magpie.ink with issue details
  • We will attempt to resolve the issue first
  • If unresolved within 48 hours, refund may be granted
  • Refund eligibility determined on case-by-case basis

REFUND TIMEFRAMES

Processing Time

  • Request review: 1-2 business days
  • Refund approval: Immediate upon review
  • Refund to payment method: 5-10 business days
  • Credit card refunds may take longer depending on your bank

Payment Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase. We cannot issue refunds to different payment methods or accounts.

EXCEPTIONS AND SPECIAL CASES

Magpie reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy in special circumstances:

  • Extended service outages
  • Major feature removals
  • Significant changes to service terms
  • Extraordinary personal circumstances (evaluated case-by-case)

All exception requests should be sent to hello@magpie.ink with detailed explanation.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Magpie may update this Refund Policy periodically. Changes will be:

  • Posted on this page with updated date
  • Communicated via email for material changes
  • Effective immediately for new purchases
  • Existing subscriptions honor policy at time of purchase
